When traveling or returning with your pet, you need to complete procedures with the Animal Quarantine Service. The required tests and procedures vary depending on the destination and may change, sometimes becoming quite complex and time-consuming.
While our clinic does not handle the full procedure on your behalf, we can assist with tests and treatments, and issue English certificates. Please research the necessary documents and conditions for your destination, plan your schedule, and make an appointment. Note that additional fees may be charged for certificate issuance, depending on the destination (e.g., Australia, New Zealand).
If you need to re-enter Japan, a rabies antibody titer test will be required. Please refer to the Animal Quarantine Service’s website for more details.
